Join the Billings Public Library Foundation, Montana State University Billings, and Yellowstone Public Radio as we commemorate fifty years of the Montana State Constitution. Join us for a day of events with a panel of historic Montanan leaders as they provide their reminiscences, thoughts, and predictions about our state’s foundational document.

12:00pm-1:30pm: Luncheon Presentation: “Reflections on the Montana Constitution: Past, Present, and Future.”
Join former Governor Marc Racicot and former Montana State Representative Dorothy Bradley for a lunchtime conversation about the Montana State Constitution.
Billings Public Library Royal Johnson Community Room

6:00pm-6:45pm: Panel Reception
Join our esteemed panelists for casual conversation prior to the public event.

$100 ticket includes wine and a light buffet as well as reserved seating at the public panel.

7:00pm-8:30pm: Public Panel: “Quality of Life, Equality of Opportunity: A Celebration of 50 years of Montana’s Constitution.”
Join former U.S. Ambassador to China and U.S. Senator Max Baucus, former Montana Governor Marc Racicot, former Montana State Representative Dorothy Bradley, Constitutional Convention delegate Mae Nan Ellingson and longtime Montana political reporter Chuck Johnson in a panel conversation moderated by Jon Stepanek, former News Director for KTVQ.

The Royal Johnson Forum is dedicated to bringing nationally known leaders to Billings to discuss critical and timely issues. The Forum provides a cornerstone to gather our community, share information, offer a broad spectrum of opinions, discuss questions, and ultimately provide a spark to inspire, engage, and create positive change.
