Your Gift is Making a Difference! The Book Kiosk Has Arrived
Thanks to your generous gifts over the past year, the Library was able to order the state’s first ever book lending kiosk! Now known as the Library Express Locker, this 24/7 resource will allow patrons to pick up materials anytime, even when the Library is closed. This is HUGE for our friends and neighbors who can’t always make it to the Library during open hours. You made this possible. Thank you!
A Night of Good Books, Good Beer, and Our Community
The Library Foundation’s first ever Book Swap and Beers was a massive success! Thanks to everyone who showed up with loads of great books to swap. We hope you all went home with a great new read! Since this was such a success, we’re planning another swap early next year. Stay tuned for details — we can’t wait to see you all again!
We’re so excited to kick off our end of year giving with Giving Tuesday on November 30th! This year we’re again raising money to purchase mobile hotspots for the Library’s collection. The 20 hotspots we purchased last year have been wildly popular, and the wait list is weeks long! We want to make sure that everyone in Billings has access to online resources — your investment in our Giving Tuesday campaign will give the gift of connection.
Take Advantage of the Montana Tax Credit The Montana Tax Credit program offers a 40% credit of a planned gift’s federal charitable deduction, up to $10,000, per year, per individual. We are knowledgeable about the paperwork and process of this tax credit and would be happy to discuss it with you as you consider your end of year giving!
